We maintain a membership list so we know how many are attending so we're properly insured, and at £1.40 pretty cheap, but only pay when you've been on a few walks. Members need to take responsibility for themselves and be prepared to help, e.g. if leaders need a hand . Any member has to respect the responsibility taken by leaders, and not undermine this or make things difficult on walks.

For Walk Leaders
Generally lead a walk if you're already comfortable navigating and finding new routes, or you know a local route that you want to share and could lead; it should be fun and we'll do our best to support you. We'll address walk-leading standards on an as-needed basis, but do follow the country code, and use a back-marker if necessary and avoid losing anyone.
